Frequently Asked Questions
What areas do you ship to?
We ship nationwide, with regular routes to Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, and Kentucky. Our main focus is on serving A-rated hunter/jumper and dressage barns as well as thoroughbred farms and dairy and cattle farms throughout the Southeast. All deliveries are made by the semi-load and hauled on our trucks.
What type of hay will my animals like best?
Every farm is different, but most performance horses prefer alfalfa, timothy, or orchard grass blends depending on their dietary needs. Dairy and cattle operations often rely on alfalfa and mixed hay for its higher protein and nutrient content. We’re happy to help match your animals’ needs with the right hay variety.
What’s the best hay for performance horses?
For high-performance horses, western alfalfa is the top choice. It’s rich in protein and nutrients that support muscle development, recovery, and endurance. Many barns also blend it with timothy or orchard grass for a balanced diet and ideal forage mix.
Do you ship to boutique barns or smaller operations?
Absolutely — as long as you can accommodate semi-truck deliveries, we’re happy to serve you. Many boutique barns in Ocala, Wellington, and throughout the Southeast love our “drop and swap” service, where we leave a trailer for convenient storage and rotate it with fresh loads as needed.
Can I pick up my own hay?
We do not offer on-site pickups. All orders are shipping-only, delivered by the semi-load for efficiency, safety, and freshness. Our goal is to make your hay supply hassle-free — from our fields to your farm, we handle every step.
